We can hear Booker’s great rendition of this jazz standard on Spiders On The Keys (Live At The Maple Leaf Bar, New Orleans, LA / 1977-1982).

There is also a video of his live performance of this song on YouTube (I’m so grateful to the person who uploaded it!!!) which I have heard and watched hundreds of times and still don’t get bored with. Booker’s playing there is ever so musically dense and busy (as always) but we can see his body is just cruising with the groove. I personally think that’s one of the clues for why Booker sounded so good and I really, really love to see that!
